Neil Nickerson, skipper on board "Kirsten Ann", sails the Alaska waters since 1988 as a Coast Guard Officer, on tug boats as well as on ferries. He knows the Inside Passage and the Prince William Sound as his backyard. His numerous voyages have also brought him to cross the Arctic Polar Circle, all the way up to Attu Island.

Neil has a "Coast Guard Master’s License", First Aid and CPR and maintains his boat to the five stars US Coast Guards standards in terms of safety.

Neil is particularcly fond in sharing his passion for the sea and this part of the world, with its rich fauna and flora, multiple sightseings and diversity of landscapes.
